Description
The Operations Manager, Commercial Contracting & Salesforce Operations, is a people manager role responsible for supporting commercial operations for Full-Service Solutions. The role partners closely with Solution Design, Global Deal Management (GDM), Finance, Legal, Business Development, and Go-to-Market.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Contracting Operations

Coordinate contracting inputs across Solution Design, GDM, Finance, and Legal.

Ensure scoped services, assumptions, and operational details are contract-ready.

Align scope, pricing tools, and contract language prior to finalization.

Facilitate timely issue resolution to support contract execution.
Scope Language, Pricing Tools & Legal Reference Materials

Develop and maintain standardized scope language, pricing frameworks, and related tools.

Create FAQs and guidance for common MSA and SOW contractual questions in partnership with GDM, Legal and the business.

Ensure all tools and materials are version-controlled and current.
Salesforce CRM Platform Operations

Own the Salesforce process for Full-Service Solutions; train additional users, as relevant.

Enable accurate, timely commercial customer opportunity inputs in Salesforce CRM platform through standard guidance and routines.

Identify recurring Salesforce data issues and drive corrective guidance or tools.

Develop and maintain pipeline reporting.
People Leadership

Provide direct line management to assigned team members, who may or may not have directly related role responsibilities.

Set performance expectations, provide coaching, and support onboarding and development.
Other Operational Tasks and Projects

Legal negotiation or interpretation authority.

Pricing strategy or margin decision ownership.

Commercial strategy or client relationship ownership.

Revenue forecasting ownership.

Execution of contracted services.

Final approval of contract changes.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree required; business, operations, or finance preferred.

5+ years of relevant commercial operations and/or CRM operations experience in a services organization within the life sciences industry.

Experience with Salesforce and/or other CRM tools required

Prior people management experience preferred.
