We are seeking a Senior Accountant to own monthly US GAAP accounting and close activities for assigned entities and processes. You will post accurate entries in SAP, prepare reconciliations and variance analysis, and support audits and process improvements. Apply now to join our finance team.
Responsibilities

Oversee US GAAP accounting for assigned entities and areas, including accruals, prepayments, and standard close activities

Execute monthly close steps in SAP in line with company policies and deadlines

Produce and review balance sheet reconciliations and explain profit & loss variances for your scope

Validate source documents and accounting details before posting or uploading to SAP, ensuring tax codes and support packages are correct

Calculate and record accruals and prepayments using system data, trend analysis, and supporting evidence

Monitor and clear posting differences between operational systems and SAP within your assigned area

Investigate unusual or irregular transactions and propose appropriate accounting treatment for senior review

Coordinate with local accountants, business partners, and finance teams to collect inputs, resolve issues, and complete closing on time

Deliver required information to third-party accounting firms to support local reporting

Support internal and external audits by providing explanations, reconciliations, and backup documentation

Drive process enhancements, system testing, and implementation of workflow updates
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment

Solid knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and core accounting principles

Hands-on experience using SAP or a comparable ERP system for accounting activities

Advanced Excel skills to build reconciliations and perform supporting calculations

High attention to detail, strong ownership, and ability to work independently within defined processes

Strong written and verbal English skills (B1+ level or above)
