We are looking for a Senior Accountant to take responsibility for monthly US GAAP accounting and close deliverables for assigned entities and processes. Responsibilities

Lead US GAAP accounting activities for assigned entities and areas, including accruals, prepayments, and routine period-end work

Run monthly close procedures in SAP in accordance with company timelines and policies

Develop and review balance sheet account reconciliations and explain profit & loss variances for your scope

Confirm transaction source documents and accounting details before posting or uploading to SAP, ensuring correct tax codes and support packages

Compute and process accruals and prepayments using system information, trend analysis, and supporting evidence

Reconcile and fix posting differences between operational systems and SAP for your designated area

Review unusual or non-routine transactions and suggest appropriate accounting actions for senior review

Work with local accountants, business partners, and finance teams to gather details, solve problems, and complete close activities on time

Share necessary information with third-party accounting firms to meet local reporting requirements

Assist audits by supplying explanations, reconciliations, and supporting materials as requested

Support process improvements, system testing, and rollout of workflow changes
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area

3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a multinational context

Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and fundamental accounting standards

Hands-on exposure to SAP or similar ERP tools for accounting processing

Advanced Excel capability for reconciliations and calculation support

Reliable accuracy, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to work independently within defined guidelines

Good verbal and written English communication skills (B1+ level or above)
