We are seeking a Middle Accountant to join our Argentina-based global shared service Accounts Payable group and ensure accurate, compliant financial processing. You will handle vendor payments, US GAAP expense postings, and SAP month-end close, while coordinating with statutory accountants and audit stakeholders. Responsibilities

Validate expenditure documentation to ensure all accounting information is accurate

Execute payments to EPAM vendors, covering domestic/international wires and both batch and individual transactions

Book company expenses under US GAAP, including accounts payable and banking-related entries

Carry out SAP monthly close tasks in line with internal procedures

Coordinate with local statutory accountants to resolve bookkeeping issues

Deliver explanations and backup documents to Senior or Lead Accountants for assigned entities as needed

Answer internal and external stakeholder requests, attend meetings, and prepare audit materials

Support process improvement work with the IT team, spot optimization areas, and assist with testing new processes
Requirements

Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Accounting or Finance

2 years of professional accounting experience or more

Advanced Excel skills within MS Office for reporting and data analysis

Strong detail orientation and disciplined compliance focus

Demonstrated accountability and ownership of deliverables

Ability to follow defined procedures and established guidelines

Team-first approach with experience in multicultural environments

English level B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) or higher, spoken and written
