We are seeking a Chief .NET Engineer to lead the design and delivery of full-stack insurance solutions across the submission-to-policy issuance lifecycle. You will guide architecture, drive AI-enabled delivery, and partner with stakeholders to ship high-impact features—apply to help shape what we build next.
Responsibilities

Lead architecture and solution design for insurance platforms from submission through policy issuance

Define technical strategy and make key design decisions across services, data, and integrations

Build and oversee backend services in .NET Framework with strong focus on reliability and performance

Deliver full-stack features with ReactJS where needed to support user workflows

Partner with stakeholders to clarify needs, estimate features, and translate requirements into technical artifacts

Implement AI SDLC practices and guide delivery of AI-enabled capabilities using Microsoft tools

Lead a team to plan, code, review, and deliver user stories to production quality

Design cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services and ensure operational readiness

Shape data models and optimize queries in Microsoft SQL Server to support quoting and policy workflows

Apply insurance domain expertise in specialty products such as Excess Casualty, Medical Liability, and Contractors

Collaborate with actuarial stakeholders and incorporate reserving considerations when relevant
Requirements

7+ years of .NET Framework development experience in production systems

5+ years of insurance domain experience across submission, quoting, binding, and policy issuance
-
Strong specialty insurance product knowledge in excess lines such as Excess Casualty and Professional Liability

5+ years of solution architecture experience designing scalable, secure applications

Proven team leadership experience leading engineers and delivery for complex initiatives
-
Strong Microsoft Azure experience building and operating cloud-based services
-
Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience with performance tuning and data modeling
-
Hands-on AI Native Engineering experience across an AI SDLC
-
Strong stakeholder management skills to estimate work, define technical artifacts, and deliver user stories

Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
