We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will contribute to building and evolving mobile applications used by a wide audience. You will collaborate closely with designers, product owners, QA, and fellow engineers within a supportive and innovation-driven environment.
Responsibilities

Build Android applications that deliver high-quality user experiences

Write and remove code as needed to maintain a healthy, evolving codebase

Work with build tools such as Gradle, GitHub Actions, and Circle CI to streamline development and delivery

Apply Continuous Integration patterns across the development workflow

Find and fix bugs to maintain stability and reliability across the app
-
Use asynchronous coding patterns to handle concurrent operations effectively
-
Perform performance analysis and optimization to ensure smooth and efficient applications
-
Handle legacy code and integrate it with modern components
-
Write unit and integration tests to safeguard code quality and correctness

Contribute to open source projects and initiatives

Collaborate effectively within a globally distributed team
Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

At least 3 years of professional relevant experience in Android development

Strong hands-on background in Android application development

Familiarity with RAML API Documentation for describing and integrating APIs
-
Solid programming skills in Kotlin, including practical experience with Flow for reactive streams
-
Working experience with RxJava for reactive and asynchronous programming
-
Hands-on experience with Circle CI for continuous integration and delivery
-
Practical background using Test Fakes to enable reliable and isolated testing
-
English at B2 level or higher, with strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Dagger for dependency injection in Android applications

Familiarity with Espresso for UI testing on Android

Practical experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflow automation

Hands-on background with JUnit for unit testing

Experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern Android UIs

Working knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming

Familiarity with the MVI Architecture pattern for building scalable Android applications

Experience with OkHttp for handling HTTP networking
-
Practical experience designing and consuming REST APIs

Familiarity with WireMock for mocking HTTP services during testing
