The Regional Sales Manager will lead the commercial and marketing strategy for South America, with the objective of driving business growth, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring the achievement of sales and profitability targets. Will manage a team of approximately 15 employees .
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Define and implement the regional sales and marketing strategy in alignment with executive leadership.

Analyze the markets in Argentina and Brazil, identifying trends, growth opportunities, and potential risks.

Develop and drive new business opportunities, markets, and segments in line with the company’s strategic plan.

Lead, develop, and align the regional team to ensure achievement of commercial objectives.

Establish and monitor commercial KPIs (sales, margins, pipeline, forecast, etc.), ensuring proper follow-up and corrective actions when needed.

Manage the sales pipeline and forecasting process, ensuring visibility and predictability of business results.

Build and strengthen relationships with key clients and strategic accounts.

Lead key commercial negotiations, ensuring profitability and long-term sustainability.

Collaborate with internal teams (Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, etc.) to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Drive the marketing strategy, including positioning, communication, demand generation, and branding initiatives.

Ensure achievement of sales, profitability, and market share targets.

Promote a culture of results, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Comply with Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental regulations; promote compliance among peers and require it from subordinates.

Understand waste segregation procedures and the environmental impact matrix in office and cafeteria areas.

Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations, preventive measures, policies, procedures, and records applicable to the department.

Be knowledgeable about environmental legal requirements and other relevant regulations, integrated quality and environmental policies, and SGI objectives.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; or the equivalent

Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial roles, with at least 5 years leading teams.

Proven experience in the water treatment industry, ideally with a focus on membrane technologies (reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, among others)

Strong knowledge of B2B industrial markets and commercial dynamics.

Languages: advanced English mandatory. Portuguese (preferred/intermediate-advanced).

Experience managing regional operations (ideally Argentina and Brazil)

Experience with CRM/ERP systems and commercial analysis tools
