We are hiring a Senior Accountant to own monthly US GAAP accounting and close deliverables for specific entities or processes. You will ensure timely and accurate SAP postings, produce reconciliations and P&L variance explanations, and assist with audits and continuous improvements while following defined procedures. Responsibilities

Handle US GAAP bookkeeping for assigned entities and accounting areas, including accruals, prepayments, and standard close activities

Execute month-end close tasks in SAP in line with procedures and deadlines

Compile and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and profit & loss variance explanations within assigned scope

Review source documents and validate accounting attributes before posting or pre-upload to SAP, including tax code and support package completeness

Calculate and prepare accrual and prepayment adjustments based on system data, trend analysis, and supporting documentation

Monitor interfaces and fix posting issues between other company’s operational systems and SAP within assigned scope

Examine irregular or unusual transactions and suggest appropriate accounting treatment for review by senior team members or management

Communicate with local accountants, business contacts, and other finance teams to resolve questions and close on time

Support third party accounting providers by supplying required data for local accounting purposes

Assist internal and external audits by collecting explanations, reconciliations, and supporting documents

Participate in process improvement efforts, including testing and implementing system or workflow changes
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area

At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within an international environment

Solid understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and general accounting principles

Practical experience with SAP or another ERP system for accounting operations

Strong Excel skills for reconciliations and supporting calculations

Excellent attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently within defined procedures

Good oral and written English communication (B1+ level or higher)
