The LatAm AI & Business Transformation AVP will lead a business-led, AI-enabled regional strategy that translates enterprise priorities into execution and measurable business and P&L impact across LatAm.
The position will orchestrate cross-functional AI transformation across Product, Marketing, Distribution, Data, Technology and country teams, establishing the governance and execution model required to scale outcomes across the region.
Reporting directly to the SVP LatAm Distribution & Business Transformation Head, this leader will serve as a senior advisor to regional and country stakeholders on AI transformation, adoption, and agile execution, ensuring the alignment, governance, and discipline required to scale AI responsibly.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead a regional transformation portfolio, prioritizing AI, digital, and process initiatives based on strategic fit, value, feasibility, adoption readiness, and execution capacity across countries and lines of business.

Define the multi-year regional AI strategy, translating enterprise priorities into country and LoB roadmaps with clear sequencing, governance, milestones, and measurable impact.

Partner with regional and country leaders to identify, prioritize, and embed AI where it creates tangible business value.

Own, together with country and functional leaders, the business value delivered by transformation and AI initiatives, including growth, productivity, simplification, customer experience, and scaled adoption.

Establish governance and decision forums to align priorities, secure sponsorship, allocate resources, manage dependencies, and escalate risks with appropriate executive visibility.

Partner with business, technology, data, risk, and functional leaders to convert strategy into disciplined execution and timely intervention.

Champion continuous improvement, experimentation, and agile ways of working to accelerate time to value and scale strategic initiatives.

Advise senior stakeholders using data, market intelligence, and external trends to guide where the region should invest, scale, or stop.

Provide executive leadership through influence, coaching, and governance discipline to sustain alignment, momentum, and accountability across a highly matrixed environment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; postgraduate or Master’s studies preferred.
Experience:

10+ years of experience in business transformation, strategy, consulting, digital, AI, or operating model roles within insurance or financial services.

10+ years leading large, cross-functional transformation portfolios in highly matrixed regional or global organizations.

Proven ability to connect executive priorities with practical execution, combining business, strategy, technology, and AI acumen.

Experience working across countries and cultures, aligning teams around a shared strategy, common frameworks, and consistent execution.
