The Role:
We're building the go-to soccer app for fans — powered by live content from a top-tier media partner and designed to be the first thing fans open every morning.
We're looking for a hands-on PM who has shipped consumer mobile products and knows how to turn casual users into daily habits.
This is an execution-first role. You'll work directly with the CEO to bring a clear product vision to life — your job is to make that vision real, fast, and well. The best candidate thrives on moving quickly, sweating the details, and obsessing over engagement metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sprint-level execution across design, engineering, and content — keeping the team moving without bottlenecks
- Translate product vision and strategy into clear, actionable specs, tickets, and priorities
- Own the full engagement and retention loop — push notifications, daily hooks, onboarding flows, and re-engagement mechanics
- Define and track the metrics that matter: DAU/MAU, session frequency, D1/ D7/D30 retention
- Partner closely with engineering on technical feasibility and scope tradeoffs
- Coordinate content and feature releases tied to the live sports calendar
- Run structured user research and usability testing to validate what's working
Requirements:
Must-haves
- 4–7 years of product management experience with at least one shipped
consumer mobile app (iOS and/or Android)
- Proven track record improving retention, engagement, or habit formation in
a consumer product
- Deep understanding of mobile growth mechanics — push notifications,
onboarding, streaks, personalization• Technically fluent — comfortable in engineering conversations,
understanding APIs, data pipelines, and mobile constraints
- Strong writer and communicator — crisp specs, clear priorities, no ambiguity
- Low ego, high output — you're here to execute a vision, not author one
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in sports, media, or content-driven consumer apps
- Familiarity with third-party content integrations and API partnerships
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks and experimentation at scale
- Passion for soccer
