Remitee is a rapidly expanding fintech specializing in international payments across LATAM. We're looking for someone who runs HR Operations with rigor — and then asks: how do we make this better, faster, or automatic?
This role combines hands-on HR execution with process transformation. You'll own real operational tasks while simultaneously redesigning how those tasks work — mapping workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and building automations and agents that free up human time for what actually requires judgment.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations (day-to-day)
- Support and execute the monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding end-to-end: documentation, systems access, communications.
- Maintain accurate employee records and keep the HRIS up to date as the single source of truth.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters (policies, benefits, procedures).
- Contribute to HR projects across performance management, engagement, and talent acquisition.
Process Transformation & Automation
- Map existing HR Ops workflows, identify bottlenecks and manual steps, and redesign them for efficiency.
- Define what gets automated, what gets agentized, and what stays human — and execute on that roadmap.
- Build and configure automation flows and AI agents using tools like Make, n8n, Zapier, or AI APIs.
- Build people metrics dashboards and maintain the knowledge base that powers HR agents.
What We're Looking For
- Proven hands-on experience with automation tools (Make, n8n, Zapier) and/or AI platforms (GPT API, Claude API, LangChain).
- Comfortable with data: advanced Excel, at least one BI tool (Power BI or similar), and basic SQL is a plus.
- Able to read and understand basic code (Python or JS) — not a developer, but enough to know what an agent is doing.
- A process-redesign mindset: you don't just document how things work, you question whether they should work that way at all.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and equally comfortable executing and building.
