Description
The Commercial Writer & Delivery Support role is responsible for developing content and training materials. This individual collaborates closely with learning strategists and other commercial writers to assess needs and support/create deliverables by applying instructional design principles to deliver effective, on time deliverables while ensuring quality, and alignment with requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Development – Collaborate with Learning Strategist to create learning materials, including kickoff decks, outlines, deliverable strawmen, and curriculum roadmaps. Adjust writing styles, language, and tone for different deliverables (e.g., training communications, evaluations, post-training surveys, etc.).

Intellectual Property (IP) Management – Partner with teams to create and summarize inventories of existing assets. Assist in developing and maintaining role-specific/ disease-specific training programs/curricula.

Subject Matter Expertise – Apply Learning Strategy and instructional design principles to optimize writing approaches for deliverables (e.g., eModule transcripts, presentations, workshops, job aids). Use best practices for writing, considering existing Learning Strategy IP to leverage, alignment with project budget, & business needs.

SharePoint Document Management – Own the saving, updating, and organization of documents on SharePoint. Ensure materials are accessible, current, and categorized.
Key Metrics to Monitor:

Content Quality & Effectiveness - Quality score as per a pre-determined quality scorecard on writing deliverables.

Project Timeliness - Projects completed on or before deadlines – average turnaround time for development.

Stakeholder Satisfaction - Client satisfaction scores.
Additional Responsibilities:

Business Development Support – Assist with creating BD materials as per guidance from the Learning Strategist.

Training Support – Supports documentation for relevant training logistical and preparation support, including scheduling assistance and printing guides.

Ad-Hoc Activities – Supports research efforts and collaborates with all project team members to develop assigned deliverables, supporting documentation, and role-specific learning assets as needed.
Qualifications Required
Required:
-
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience is required; MBA, Masters other professional equivalent preferred

Minimum 5 years of experience in training
-
Minimum 5 years of experience with short, medium, and long-form copywriting
Preferred:
-
Minimum 2 years of experience doing research and supporting strategy in Pharma relevant related roles (instructional design, user experience, etc.)

Background in Biopharmaceutical Training / Instructional Design or equivalent
