Main purpose: Supports the development of innovative technology within Seed Manufacturing to deliver optimum seed production recommendations to maximize seed yield and quality, reduce costs and minimize variation in targeted seed units produced with the focus on the product pipeline process Develops scientific research based on general or detailed instructions for routine or new assignments respectively. Transfer Knowledge with training and field support to operation team.
Your mission will be to:
- The person in this role works on problems of moderate scope in which analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors and ability to draw logical and practical solutions Lead optimization team with local or regional scope.
- Coordinate and Continuous Improvement field related projects based on key process needs.
- Supports the full alignment with critical Stakeholders to prioritize, test and deploy key projects/technologies within the region to improve our cost, quality and reliability of seed production.
- Responsible for protocol definition within his scope of responsibility, its proper understanding by the people responsible for execution (Research Associates), data analysis and final technical reports.
- Delivers optimum seed production recommendations to maximize seed yield and quality and minimize variation in targeted seed units produced.
- Provides adequate visibility of value generated to internal stakeholders, including formal reviews/alignments on regular basis.
- Coaches technicians and research associates, ensuring the full alignment with Testing Operations lead Promote synergies across teams, undrestanding and living the shared vision,cross colaboration and team culture.
- Contribute to develop an inclusive and integrated organization Supports safety/ ESH initiatives within Production Research and the seed manufacturing process.
- Networks with colleagues from other regions/functions to expand knowledge and best practices.
- Provides technical trainings to team members and stakeholders/customers when applicable.
- Supports investigations of significant seed production issues when applicable.
- Supports investigations of new biotechnology / native traits and germplasm.
Unlock your potential:
- Degree in Agronomy or related discipline with 5+ years experience Agronomy Science.
- Must reside near Rojas, Bs. As., to commute to the office 3 times a week, and be available to travel across the country's productive areas.
- Good communication - oral, written, under diverse circumstances and audiences.
- Strong knowledge in corn seed production.
- Strong technical aptitude on data management, data analysis, data mining and data visualization tools.
- Results driven and capacity to influence within a matrixed organization and across functions Technical skill of driving motor vehicles is a need.
- Advence English communication skills.
