About Our Client
Our client is a fast-moving enterprise AI platform building AI-powered products and infrastructure designed to support real business decisions.
About the Role
Our client is looking for a Full Stack AI Engineer to own complete AI-native systems from concept through production. This means product thinking, UX, frontend, backend, AI workflows, infrastructure, deployment, and iteration, not a slice of it.
This is not a narrow frontend, backend, or machine learning role. You'll take loosely defined business problems, design the user experience, decide how the system should work, build every layer, deploy it securely, measure whether it works, and improve it based on real usage. The hardest thing to find for this role is systems thinking: someone who considers second-order effects and prefers ownership and ambiguity over narrowly scoped work.
Responsibilities-
Build complete AI-native products from concept through production, turning loosely defined business problems into clear technical systems
-
Design polished interfaces for complex enterprise workflows, and make architecture decisions based on scale, reliability, security, and maintainability
-
Build responsive frontend applications with React and Next.js, and secure backend APIs, data pipelines, and asynchronous workflows
-
Design for multi-tenancy, role-based access, auditability, and enterprise security, connecting the platform to systems like HRIS, ATS, CRM, and internal databases
-
Develop LLM-powered features, agents, retrieval systems, and evaluation pipelines, with strong grounding in RAG, embeddings, tool calling, and structured outputs
-
Design systems that operate inside customer VPCs, private clouds, and controlled enterprise environments
-
Deploy and monitor cloud applications across GCP, AWS, Azure, and customer environments, building observability, testing, and alerting so issues are caught early
-
Design for CI/CD and infrastructure as code, owning authentication, permissions, encryption, and data privacy across the stack
What We're Looking For-
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally shipping production systems from zero to meaningful scale
-
Strong frontend skills (React, Next.js, TypeScript) and strong backend skills (Python, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar)
-
Hands-on experience building production AI or LLM features, including RAG, agents, tool use, and evaluation frameworks, not just prototypes
-
Experience designing APIs, databases, data models, and distributed workflows, with strong security fundamentals (auth, permissions, encryption, data privacy)
-
Strong product judgment and design taste, plus high ownership and clear communication in an async environment
Nice to Have-
Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, vector databases, or search systems
-
Familiarity with OAuth, SSO, SAML, SCIM, RBAC, or enterprise integrations
-
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, or customer VPC deployments
-
Strong product/design instincts (e.g. Figma), or prior experience as a founding engineer at an early-stage company
Work Schedule-
100% remote setup so you can work wherever you're most productive
-
This position operates on a full-time basis, with dedicated hours to ensure alignment with the team and delivery of quality work
-
Availability during US business hours, with high availability including reachability outside of standard hours when the situation calls for it
Compensation & Time Off-
Compensation paid in USD
-
Paid bi-monthly on the 15th and 30th
-
Paid Time Off according to company policy
-
Holidays observed according to company guidelines
Application Requirements
Please submit:
-
An updated resume
-
A portfolio link or GitHub showing AI systems or full stack projects you've built and shipped in production
-
A 1–2 minute Loom video introducing yourself, walking through a system you're most proud of, and explaining the architectural decisions you made, with a focus on how you thought about the system as a whole, not just individual components
Only candidates who submit both a portfolio and Loom video will be moved to the next step of the hiring process.
