- Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures with precision and care

Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative evaluations

Collaborate with surgical teams and healthcare staff to optimize patient outcomes

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions

Stay updated on advancements in cardiothoracic surgical techniques

Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and recovery

Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and medical regulations
- MD degree from an accredited medical school

Completion of a residency in cardiothoracic surgery

Valid medical license to practice in the state of San Juan

Strong clinical skills and proficiency in cardiothoracic procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Prior experience in a locum tenens or contract role is preferred
- Flexible Scheduling: Mondays & Wednesdays + call

Weeknight, weekday, and weekend call shifts available

Setting: Outpatient, inpatient, ED, and OR

Patient Census: 8 per shift
