Performs a wide variety of financial analyses to provide company management with interpretive and predictive financial information that is used to make business performance assessments and capital investment/divestment decisions. Develops cross-functional partnerships to identify strategic and commercial opportunities and to resolve performance issues.
Supports major customers/clients and leads projects of medium scope and complexity under limited supervision. Detailed knowledge of most aspects of the work function.
The candidate will be responsible for managing the financial reporting of key financial metrics of the asset assigned to business unit management and to the corporation. Additionally, will be in charge of making the forecast and explaining the variations.
Typical job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manages monthly, quarterly, and year-end close reporting processes as pertains to Budgets, Forecasts, and Financial Reporting group.
Ensures Assets progress against established performance objectives (Earnings, Cash Flow, CAPEX & OPEX) is reported to management monthly, providing counsel and analysis to management of actual results versus performance targets. This includes an exhaustive review of the Financial Outlook monthly.
Interact with corporate departments for the accounting of complex transactions.
Analysis and modeling of different scenarios.
Collaborate with Planning team with Business Plan preparation.
Preparation of Ad-Hoc reports as required by Business Unit management.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
+5 years of experience in Finance, or business analysis roles.
Strong ability to understand business processes and translate them into finance analysis and impacts.
Intermediate knowledge of financial reporting concepts (P&L, variance analysis, accounting knowledge).
Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
