JOB DESCRIPTION
Help shape successful transactions by bringing structure, rigor, and momentum to complex deal execution at JPMorganChase. In this role, you will collaborate with bankers and control partners across the transaction lifecycle to deliver a strong client experience. You will gain broad exposure to debt, equity, and mergers and acquisitions activity while building stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced, global environment.
As a Global Banking Deal Services Analyst in Global Banking Deal Services, you will partner with industry, product, and country banking teams to support client relationship management activities and the execution of investment banking transactions. You will help manage client activities, coordinate follow-ups, and monitor key transaction milestones to enable timely, well-controlled deal execution. You will collaborate closely with internal partners to drive consistent delivery and escalate issues as needed.
Job responsibilities

Build and maintain strong working relationships with deal teams, supporting origination and execution activities for a portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, primarily in North America

Track and drive timely completion of client activities and transaction milestones, including negative media screening, sanctions due diligence, sustainability-related assessments, deal announcements, and deal closures

Participate in due diligence calls to identify required follow-up actions and coordinate completion with relevant stakeholders

Manage and monitor the deal pipeline, including prioritization, status updates, and escalation of risks or delays

Partner with Compliance, Legal, Credit Risk, Research, Finance, Business Management, and other teams to support client and transaction needs

Coordinate end-to-end oversight of the underwriting committee approval process, including preparation, tracking, and follow-ups

Partner with Wholesale Know Your Customer operations to support new and existing business activity and help ensure timely and accurate completion of requirements

Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce administrative friction, and improve execution efficiency

Maintain oversight of deal controls, ensuring milestones are met on time and issues are identified, escalated, and resolved promptly
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Working knowledge of investment banking products, such as mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, debt capital markets, leveraged finance, or loans

Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients and senior stakeholders in a professional setting

Demonstrated ownership mindset, with the ability to manage tasks independently and deliver outcomes with appropriate supervision

Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to identify issues, assess impacts, and drive resolution

Strong attention to detail and commitment to dependable, timely, and accurate delivery to deal teams and clients

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear status updates and coordinate across teams
