We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Amazon Inventory & Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for managing logistics and inventory for multiple Amazon Seller Central clients. This role requires someone who catches issues before they become problems, communicates clearly and consistently with clients and internal teams, and holds a high quality control standard on every shipment, order, and inventory record that passes through their hands.
Key Responsibilities
Proactive Inventory Monitoring
- Monitor inventory levels daily across all client accounts and flag stock risks (understock, overstock, aging inventory) before they become urgent.
- Perform daily analysis on stock levels, highlight inventory problems early, and provide insights on ordering new/reordering existing products.
- Track upcoming ETAs, in-transit shipments, and reorder points to stay ahead of coverage gaps rather than reacting to stockouts after they happen.
- Maintain monitoring sheets for shipments and inventory position, updated consistently rather than as-needed.
Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Manage global relationships with third-party warehouses/vendors and suppliers.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients' shipping and logistics teams and external partners.
- Track and trace shipments, and implement timely resolutions to identified problems.
- Manage inventory replenishment operations in Seller Central and off-Amazon software, including creating shipments, updating information, and communicating with client partners and 3P warehouses.
Communication
- Communicate inventory risks, shipment delays, and logistics issues to clients and account managers clearly and early, not after the fact.
- Act as a responsive, reliable point of contact for internal teams, clients, and external partners, with regular status updates on open issues.
- Translate logistics and inventory data into clear, actionable updates for non-technical stakeholders.
Quality Control and Attention to Detail
- Review shipments, transfer orders, and inventory records for accuracy before submission to catch errors (unit mismatches, quantity discrepancies, incorrect labeling) before they cause delays or reconciliation issues.
- Audit stranded, unfulfillable, defective, reserved, and aged inventory on a regular cadence and take corrective action.
- Double-check data entered into Seller Central and off-Amazon systems against source documentation to maintain clean, reliable records.
Process Improvement
- Lead efficiency projects by proposing new methods, process improvements, and software solutions.
- Manage integrations related to Supply Chain/Logistics Operations.
- Advise on and implement appropriate software/systems for automating recurring business tasks.
- Build cost modeling tools for shipping solutions.
- Create and maintain up-to-date records of SOPs and product specifications.
- Act as a "super user" and custodian of Amazon Seller Central, ensuring daily monitoring and maintenance for compliance with rules and regulations in the inventory and logistics realm.
- Handle other ad-hoc tasks supporting Inventory and Inventory reporting in Seller Central activities.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics and Inventory Management.
- Hands-on experience with inventory planning, forecasting, and managing multiple supply fulfillments.
- Demonstrated track record of catching problems early and communicating them proactively, not just resolving issues once they've already escalated.
- High attention to detail with a quality control mindset, comfortable double-checking work and data before it goes out the door.
- Knowledge and experience in efficiency improvement activities, including automation of Supply Chain/Logistics/Inventory systems and software.
- Proficient in Google Sheets and MS Excel, including standardized reporting, analysis, data queries/manipulation, and formulas.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interactions, leading conversations/meetings, and influencing others.
- Experience in a global supply chain and forecasting highly seasonal products is an advantage.
- Demonstrable competency in organizational and analytical skills.
- 2-3 years of experience working in Seller Central.
- Good understanding of FBA & FBM and Seller Central as a whole.
- Knowledge of working with ClickUp is a plus.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET. The role is fully remote, and reliable availability during these hours is required for collaboration with internal teams.
Work From Home Set-Up
Since this role is 100% remote, we require:
- Stable internet service with a minimum download/upload speed of 10 Mbps (DSL or Fiber connection).
- Backup internet solution (LTE Mobile Data or Pocket WIFI).
- Desktop computer or laptop with Intel i3 or equivalent processor, Windows 7 and above.
- Good headset with an extended microphone and noise cancellation preferred.
- Good external or integrated webcam.
