Carry out brownfield refactors, service decommissions, and migrations, including OAuth migrations, WAF block-mode enablement, and Mythos SAST/SCA remediations
-
Configure and tune AWS WAF rules while resolving security issues uncovered by SAST and SCA tooling
-
Integrate internal and third-party systems via REST APIs, including patterns such as ServiceNow OAuth client credentials flows
-
Automate operational workflows and back agentic platform initiatives, with familiarity with n8n, LangChain, or similar orchestration tools considered a plus
-
Partner with the SRE Consultant on telemetry gaps and Lambda-based data collection automation
Requirements
-
A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional background
-
A minimum of one year guiding and overseeing development teams
-
Python development expertise focused on AWS Lambda and API Gateway in production settings
-
Strong working knowledge of boto3 across services such as IAM, Secrets Manager, SSM, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and WAF
-
Hands-on Terraform expertise for production-level infrastructure as code, covering writing, refactoring, and reviewing modules
-
Practical familiarity with the Serverless Framework, including supporting and migrating legacy stacks
-
Hands-on construction of CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, with willingness to drive a cicd-functions to GHA transition
-
Experience defining AWS WAF rules, activating block mode, and contributing to incident response efforts
-
Knowledge of security tooling such as SAST and SCA, plus exposure to a structured compliance program
-
Brownfield approach with a proven history of migrations, decommissions, and refactors rather than greenfield work
-
Excellent oral and written English communication skills (B2+ level or higher)
