Project Manager/Project Coordinator (Independent Contractor) - LATAM/Argentina
Engaging Team: Professional Services
Contract Type: B2B Independent Contractor / Freelance Retainer
Compensation: $4,000 USD/month
Role Purpose
Precursive, a leading SaaS provider of Professional Services Automation (PSA) solutions built on Salesforce, is seeking an Independent Project Coordinator to partner with our Professional Services team. In this hybrid role – part Project Manager, part Resource Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in helping customers implement the Precursive PSA platform and realize value quickly. You will collaborate with our internal Project Managers to drive the successful execution of 3–4 concurrent client onboarding projects, owning coordination, scheduling, documentation, and communication throughout each project's lifecycle.
This is a client-facing, detail-driven role where your organizational superpowers and ability to stay one step ahead will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and smooth go-lives. You'll coordinate across internal teams and client stakeholders to keep projects on track, acting as the connective tissue between our customers and our delivery team. If you're a natural multitasker who can juggle timelines and resources with a friendly, professional touch, this role provides broad experience akin to project management roles at top SaaS companies.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Scheduling
- Plan and track projects: Support Precursive Project Consultants and Client Project Managers in structuring and maintaining implementation timelines, key milestones, and task lists for each customer project.
-
Documentation management: Manage all project documentation and updates – including scheduling meetings, capturing notes, maintaining risk logs, and tracking deliverables – to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
-
Resource & stakeholder coordination: Coordinate internal resources (e.g. consultants, engineers) and client stakeholders to meet project objectives and deadlines, effectively scheduling the right people at the right time to keep projects moving.
Client Communication & Support
- Primary point of contact: Act as a friendly, professional point of contact for your assigned implementation projects, building trust with client teams from kickoff to go-live.
-
Meetings and check-ins: Facilitate project kickoff calls, regular check-ins, and follow-up meetings to keep clients informed, engaged, and confident in our progress.
-
Progress reporting: Clearly communicate project updates, align on next steps, and proactively surface any risks or blockers to both clients and internal teams, ensuring there are no surprises.
Multitasking Across Projects
- Manage multiple projects: Own a portfolio of 3–4 active client projects simultaneously, ensuring each receives appropriate attention and forward momentum.
-
Adapt and ensure quality: Maintain consistent process quality across projects while adapting to each client's unique goals, requirements, and timeline.
-
Leverage tools & templates: Use Precursive's playbooks, templates, and best practices to streamline project work, improving efficiency and scalability of our implementations.
Team Support & Collaboration
- Resource coordination: Assist with internal resource planning by helping allocate Precursive team members across projects according to capacity and skillset. Handle administrative and logistical needs for the delivery team (e.g. scheduling resources, coordinating project communications).
-
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Precursive Implementation Consultants, Customer Support, and Sales teams to create a seamless end-to-end customer experience. Ensure hand-offs between Sales and Professional Services are smooth and that customer expectations are aligned.
-
Continuous improvement: Contribute ideas to improve our internal delivery processes, tools, and templates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a project coordination, customer onboarding, or implementation support role (preferably in SaaS, consulting, or tech).
-
Experience managing multiple projects or coordinating resources across teams.
-
Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Jira, or similar.
-
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and Slack.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience working with or implementing PSA platforms.
-
Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem.
-
Project management certifications such as CAPM or PMP.
-
Exposure to SaaS customer onboarding processes.
-
Experience using Precursive.
Logistics & Engagement Perks
- The Setup: This is a 100% remote, B2B Independent Contractor role directly with Precursive Inc. (US). You'll be paid a flat monthly retainer in USD and will be responsible for your own local tax filings (e.g., Monotributo).
-
Schedule: Candidates must be able to provide core collaboration availability overlapping with US Eastern or Central time zones.
-
Rest & Recharge: We know contractors rarely get a break. That's why your monthly USD retainer remains 100% intact for up to 34 days of planned unavailability per year, we simply ask that planned service interruptions are coordinated in advance so project milestones are maintained.
-
Your Tech: Because you'll be working in secure client environments, we provide a generous upfront stipend for you to buy a dedicated work machine locally that meets our US security standards.
