Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer (6+ years experience) to help design, build, and improve our business-critical, AI-enabled systems.
This role focuses primarily on the Zoho Ecosystem, automation, and complex integration with third-party systems supporting our Ecommerce operations and internal workflows. In addition this position plays an important role in advancing the organization's use of AI-assisted development practices and AI-powered business solutions.
You will work closely with the Project Manager and Development Team Lead to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that align with business and departmental goals. We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, thinks in systems, and takes ownership of delivering clean and dependable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
AI-Assisted Development (core)

Use AI coding tools (Claude Code is our standard) as a primary part of daily development; generation, refactoring, debugging, testing, reviewing output critically

Build and maintain AI-powered automations across the stack: quote drafting, CS responses, reporting, SLA flagging

Support LLM API and prompt work; contribute to the team's standard AI workflow
Development and Architecture

Design, update, build and maintain the system across Zoho One, including: Zoho Creator, CRM, Books, Inventory, Forms, Desk, SalesIQ

Develop and maintain advanced automations using Deluge

Architect scalable workflows and maintain system-wide data integrity

Optimize performance, reliability and maintainability of existing systems
Integrations

Build and maintain integration between Zoho and third-party platforms

Work with REST API’s, JSON, Webhooks, and secure authentication methods

Troubleshoot and resolve complex cross-platform issues
Collaboration and Delivery

Work with the Project Manager and the Development Team Lead to plan and prioritize work

Translate business requirements into efficient and effective technical solutions

Provide realistic time estimates and deliver dependable results

Provide mentorship and counsel to more junior developers
Documentation and Quality

Write appropriate documentation for new projects and features

Maintain clear documentation of the system and all integrations

Follow coding standards and best practices

Improve existing processes through automation

Ensure systems remain secure, stable and scalable

Participate in and document development-level testing efforts on project and fix work
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional development experience

Strong experience with AI-enabled systems
Strong hands-on experience with

- Advanced Deluge Script expertise with optimized code
- Strong experience with building API integrations
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, Webhooks and data structures
- Experience working with complex interconnected systems
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborating with a team
Preferred/Bonus Skills
- Experience with Node.js, React, PHP, Laravel
Familiarity with BigCommerce, ShipStation, Avalara, Ecommerce Platforms, Operational Workflows (Orders, Inventory)
