Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator to manage, configure, and optimize our SFMC environment. In this role, you will be the primary subject matter expert for the Marketing Cloud platform, ensuring it runs efficiently and integrates seamlessly with our core Salesforce architecture. You will work closely with marketing stakeholders and the broader Salesforce technical team to build scalable data models, manage user permissions, and ensure the successful delivery of multi-channel campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Administration: Manage administrative functions including user provisioning, role and permission configuration, business unit setup, and security settings.
- Data Management: Architect and maintain Data Extensions, attribute groups, and data relationships within Contact Builder. Write and optimize SQL queries to segment audiences and automate data imports/exports.
- System Integration: Monitor and maintain Marketing Cloud Connect to ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between Salesforce CRM (Sales/Service Cloud) and Marketing Cloud.
- Campaign Support & Configuration: Assist the marketing team with the technical configuration of Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Act as the first line of defense for platform issues, troubleshooting failed automations, email deliverability issues, and data sync errors.
- Governance & Compliance: Enforce best practices for data hygiene, folder organization, and naming conventions. Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA, and other email privacy regulations.
- Release Management: Stay current with Salesforce releases, assessing how new features and updates will impact the current environment and recommending platform enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Must speak and write English
- Experience: 5–7 years of dedicated experience administering Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Certifications: Active Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification (Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketing Cloud Consultant is a strong plus).
- Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Automation Studio and Journey Builder.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL for complex data segmentation.
- Familiarity with AMPscript for dynamic content personalization.
- Understanding of basic HTML/CSS for email template troubleshooting.
- Ecosystem Knowledge: Solid understanding of how Marketing Cloud interacts with core Salesforce clouds via Marketing Cloud Connect.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate marketing requirements into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional SFMC modules (e.g., Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, Interaction Studio/Personalization).
- Familiarity with API integrations (REST/SOAP) within the Salesforce ecosystem.
