About the role
AspenView Technology Partners is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead for a focused business intelligence engagement with a North American enterprise client. This is a delivery-leadership role for someone equally comfortable architecting BI solutions, building data pipelines, and engaging business stakeholders directly. You will own a moderate-complexity workstream end-to-end — with the autonomy to set technical direction and the accountability to deliver it.
What you will do:

Lead the design and delivery of Power BI and broader BI solutions, owning the data model, semantic layer, and reporting architecture for the engagement.

Build and optimize data transformation pipelines in PySpark, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability at scale.

Engage directly and independently with business stakeholders to gather requirements, frame trade-offs, and drive alignment on scope and priorities.

Run a moderate-complexity project end-to-end — planning, technical direction, execution, and stakeholder communication — with minimal oversight.

Apply disciplined version control and collaboration practices using Git across the delivery lifecycle.

Translate business questions into pragmatic, well-structured BI deliverables for both technical and non-technical audiences.
What you bring:

5+ years of professional experience delivering BI and data solutions, including time in a technical lead or senior capacity.

Strong, demonstrable experience with Power BI and BI solution delivery, including data modeling and report/dashboard design.

Solid hands-on experience with PySpark for data processing and transformation.

Proficiency with Git and modern collaborative development workflows.

Proven ability to independently engage business stakeholders and lead moderate-complexity projects from start to finish.

English at a C1 level — confident, fluent written and spoken communication with North American business stakeholders
